You know I agree with the sentiment of the gif, but I have never referred to myself as a nonconformist because of the same reasons. We aren’t at all. If you subscribe to the ideals of a subculture YOU CONFORM lolol.

Exactly! We’re Goth conformists. People don’t seem to understand that the subculture does still have some boundaries. Those boundaries mean that not everything that is dark or macabre is Goth.
